Our Play Sand is a high-quality silica sand. This acts as a protective surface for play areas and safe for
children and pets.
Most used in schools and nursery play areas as well as at home for play or sand pits.
Tested to BSEN117 standard, which concerns the testing for impact absorbing surfaces.
Play sand differs from horticultural sand, our play sand has smaller particles which are smooth and therefore less grainy.
It is much finer than other sands. Can be used in public spaces such as county fares, bars and you could even create your own fake seaside beach!
